The 21 year old from Ilkley, who has racked up successful seasons in Formula BMW and Formula Renault, is racing Stateside in 2008 in the Skip Barber National Championship, a leading single seater series in the USA. The season is a seven-weekend, 14-race championship, all run as primary support events at major motorsports race weekends including ALMS, Champ Car and Grand-Am so exposes Chris to the very best the American paddocks have to offer. The move to the American series is easy to understand given the outstanding prize for the Champion, a fully funded drive in the 2009 Star Mazda series worth over £175,000! As Chris's new mantra goes "I'm going for the win!". "This is a very exciting challenge and I am looking forward to it" says Chris.
