Yorkshire-born Chris Holmes is one of the UK's most promising racing drivers
and one of its most naturally talented. When he first met his manager, Tim
Sugden, not only had he never raced - unlike almost every other professional
racing driver, he hadn't served the traditional apprenticeship in Karting, and
he couldn't even drive a road car. Now, just three years later, he's a race
winner!
Not only does Chris have the talent to
become one of Britain's shining motorsport stars, he also has the personality
to grow into a sponsors dream.
Chris possesses all the necessary
qualities to succeed as an example of British Motorsport; he is intelligent,
accessible, promotable and blessed with an exceptional gift for the
sport.
Chris took part in his first full season of Car Racing in 2004
competing in the Caterham R400 Superlight series and achieved several podium
finishes, being placed 6th in the championship.
In 2005 Chris was
signed by Fortec Motorsport for a learning season in Formula BMW UK in 2004
before switching to Mackie Motorsport in 2006, even though it was a single car
team it saw Chris become a Frontrunner and podium finisher, forecasting a
genuinely prosperous career ahead.
Chris' commitment and passion is already
making an impression on experienced motorsports professionals and there is no
doubt that this young man has the speed and determination to go all the way in
his chosen field.
